Volunteer Information Session – March 6th
March 6 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Looking for a new, unique, and enriching opportunity? Volunteering at the American Independence Museum may be just the experience you are looking for. We have volunteers in all aspects of the museum including guides, educators, gift shop attendants, events support, festival help, summer college interns, collections researchers, and more.
Come to Folsom Tavern to meet with staff and current volunteers, learn about the the museum, and find out all about our volunteer opportunities for the coming season. Light refreshments will be served.
Volunteering at the AIM comes with lots of great benefits including free membership to the museum (must reach volunteer a minimum number of hours), discounts in the gift shop, volunteer only thank events and programs, field trips (for guides and educators), and the knowledge that you are helping a museum you love. No prior experience necessary, training will be provided. It is important to note that some of our volunteers wear colonial clothes but it is not required.
Cannot make it to one of the two info sessions? You can learn all about our volunteer program on our website at https://www.
Parking is available in the Museum parking lot on Spring Street, Exeter Municipal Lots, and street parking on Water Street. Please note that due to the historic nature of the building, it is not handicap accessible.
