Virtual Lunch & Learn: Open Question – Does Truth Matter?

REGISTER

“Open Questions” is a new program presented by New Hampshire Humanities that explores essential questions about meaning and life that are important to Granite Staters.

This year at the AIM we are looking at commemoration and memorialization, how those choices are made and by whom, and how commemoration holds and creates meaning and “truth”. With that in mind Dr. Joshua Tepley, an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Anselm College, will ask “Does Truth Matter?” in this FREE program. We hope you will join us and add your voice and ideas to the discussion.

Registration required for this free program. A Zoom link with be sent to all participants before the program. Please be sure to have the Zoom platform set up on your computer so you will be able to attend.

The Culper Spy Ring

This is a drop-in, self lead activity/scavenger hunt on the grounds of the Folsom Tavern.

Masks are required per ordinance of Town of Exeter.

While many fought courageously on the battlefield during the Revolutionary War, an elite network of individuals worked behind the scenes, risking their lives to conduct covert intelligence operations that greatly impacted the outcome of the war. The Culper Spy Ring was the most prestigious and important of the espionage networks.

Stop by the grounds of the Folsom Tavern anytime from now though the end of September to begin your mission as a spy! Solve three riddles to work your way across the grounds, leading you to your final destination where you will receive a make your own cipher wheel kit! No sign up necessary!

Your mission begins under the outdoor water spigot at the back of the tavern, near the side stairs.

Protect your secrets and yourself! Please keep 6 feet from other spy ring members on museum grounds. Hand sanitizer is provided on your quest.
